Earth to Ned, on Disney+

Well, I wasn't quite sure where to put my review. It could go under "sci-fi", because there are aliens; or "reality", because it's also a real talk show with real human guests. It could certainly go under "comedy". But ultimately I decided to go with "weird". Actually, for a long time I wasn't sure whether I'd even write a review, or how much of the series I would watch. I didn't care for it too much at first, but I decided to keep giving it a chance, and over time, it kind of grew on me. I still don't think it's great, but it's okay.

Anyway, there's this Muppety sort of alien named Ned (voiced by Paul Rugg), who's supposed to destroy Earth, but instead he decides to do a talk show, with each episode focusing on some aspect of Earth culture, which intrigues him. He has an underling of a different species of alien, named Cornelius, who serves as his sidekick. And their ship has a holographic A.I. named B.E.T.I., and there are some weird little creatures called Clods. And like I said, they have human guests on their show. There's really not much more to say. Except that the first season ends on a major cliffhanger, and if there isn't a second season I'll be really annoyed.
