CollegeHumor
facebook; IMDb; official website; TV Tropes; Wikipedia; YouTube

The site launched in 2000. It consists of funny videos (both one-shots and series), articles, and pictures. In 2009, it had a short-lived TV series on MTV, which I never saw. As for the website itself, I'm not sure how much I may have looked at anything on it over the years, but probably not much. I decided to start this page in July 2015, to keep track of what few things I might watch on the website from now on. It probably still will be very rare for me to see anything, but there could be a few things, now and then. Maybe. And... it's a shame to think I've probably completely forgotten some things I watched on the site in the past, but it's not all that important to me. (Really, I'm just doing this mainly because last year I started a similar page for Funny or Die, and it seemed sort of unfair not to also have a page for this older site.) Oh, I should also say I always try to link to a page on the actual website, but there may be things I can only find on their YouTube channel.

Jurassic Park Character's Awful Realization (3:25; live-action)

From September 2011. I first watched this in July 2015, after watching a different Jurassic Park parody on the site ("Different Geological Eras"), because that's just how the internet works. This is about the lawyer from the movie being forced to sacrifice himself to a T-rex, because he's not an important character. I found it reasonably amusing. (There are a bunch of other JP spoofs on CH, and maybe sometime I'll watch more of them. Or not.)

Dora the Explorer (live-action)

From June 2012 and March-April 2013. I first saw this series of videos in March and November of 2013, and it was also in November 2013 that I started a page for it here on my site (linked above). So I needn't say anything about the plot on this page, I guess. But it's still my favorite thing I've seen on CH, as far as I can recall.

Disney Princess Spring Breakers Trailer (2:31; live-action)

From March 2013. I first saw this in 2017, though I didn't watch it right away, and by the time I did, I'd forgotten how I even became aware of it. Anyway, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, and Jasmine get into some decidedly non-G-rated situations (with some help from the Genie). Though ostensibly the (fake) movie being advertised is rated G. And I don't know what else to tell you.

Daria Movie Trailer (2:15; live-action)

From July 2013. I first watched this in June 2015, after seeing it mentioned on BuzzFeed (which erroneously said it was from Funny or Die). The video stars Aubrey Plaza as an adult Daria Morgendorffer (from the animated series Daria), in a fake movie trailer about a 10-year reunion for Lawndale High's class of 2002. As a fan of "Daria," I thought this video was quite funny and spot-on (aside from being mistaken about Daria being the class valedictorian). I would totally watch this movie if it were real.

How America Is Like a Bad Boyfriend (2:26; live-action)

From December 2014. I first watched this in January 2017, after a friend shared it on facebook (and it seems more apt now than ever). Two women are talking in a bar. One of them (who I'm assuming from her accent is British) is trying to convince her friend that she's in a bad relationship. We see from the way the boyfriend (who is a personification of America) treats the American woman that the British woman is totally right, though it takes quite awhile for the American woman to admit it. Anyway, it's pretty amusing (and also sad, because it's so true). Oh... and when I looked for the video on CollegeHumor (linked above), it was a bit longer than the one I saw on facebook, with a few extra lines of dialogue.

How to Tell If You're a Basic Bro (3:06; live-action)

From February 2015. I first watched it... I dunno, sometime in summer 2015, probably July. A couple visit a doctor, who explains the results of the guy's test: He's a basic bro, which is a serious condition. Anyway, the video's pretty funny.

If Jurassic Park Were in Different Geological Eras (2:28; animated)

From June 2015. I first watched this in July 2015, when I saw it posted on facebook. About a week later, I re-watched Jurassic Park for the first time in many years. The video was pretty funny when I first watched it, but when I started this page a couple days after watching the movie, I rewatched the video, and it was even funnier this time, because now all the specific scenes that are parodied were fresh in my memory. Anyway, the title pretty much explains the whole premise of the video.

In Defense of Puns (3:09; live-action)

From July 2015. (Not sure when I first watched it.) A woman (not sure who she is or if I should know her from anything) defends puns against haters. It's pretty cool.

Back to the Future in Actual 2015 (3:22; animated)

From October 2015. This came out a week before the date in Back to the Future Part II when Marty McFly arrived in 2015. And as you might guess from the title, the humor of the video lies in how different the 2015 of the movie is from the 2015 of reality. So... it's pretty funny, except the joke's really kind of on all of us who have to live in reality. So I guess it's sad... but I like the video, anyway. Because it's so funny.
