A social worker named Mia tries to convince an imaginative young girl named Kaleigh that it would be in her best interest to wear a "micro doser" patch that guarantees the wearer will always be happy, which is apparently required by law. But neither Kaleigh nor her mother want her to wear one of the patches. I won't say how it ends, but I do think it's an interesting film that really makes you think about... you know, stuff. As someone who suffers depression myself, the idea of a patch that could make me happier than any prescription medications ever have sounds kind of good, but at the same time I wouldn't like to be incapable of sadness. Sometimes sadness is appropriate. And I certainly wouldn't want the law to mandate that everyone wear such patches. Anyway, I don't know what else to say.
