This 2013 short film was presented as a Dust Exclusive in 2017 (re-released in 2022).

A teenaged boy named Nigel lives in a cramped, rundown space pod with his parents and grandfather. Every day he collects space junk (which is inexplicably boiled into soup for his family; how they live on metal soup I have no idea). And every day he sees a girl looking out a window of a pod that's orbiting in the opposite direction. Though they don't actually know each other (and we never get to know the girl at all), they've apparently fallen in love (or whatever passes for love in an existence such as theirs). I don't want to reveal any more details, but it's a nicely eccentric, charming little story of two star-crossed would-be lovers.
