Camp Monster: "The Mauler" (18:35)

This is set at a summer camp called Camp Willowdale, which is for teenagers to become monster hunters. Though it's unclear how many campers actually believe in monsters. Anyway, there are two brothers, Daniel and Lawrence, the latter of whom is overweight and apparently an outcast among the campers, who have to go on a scavenger hunt. Lawrence finds a "torment fragment," which eventually turns him into a monster. So he gets revenge on the boys who tormented him. Many years later, there's a group of girls at the camp, and one of them, Eva, meets Lawrence and Daniel. Daniel is now an old man who has been protecting his brother ever since he became a monster, and he hopes to find a way to turn him back into a human. And... that's all I want to say. I guess the film was okay, in fact I think I liked it a bit more than I do some Crypt series that are more memorable. Kind of. Also, there's an appearance by the Tome that keeps appearing throughout the CMU.
