Anime Crimes Division, on Crunchyroll / RocketJump (YouTube)
Crunchyroll; IMDb; TV Tropes

Caution: spoilers.

Season one (3 episodes)
The show is a parody of cop shows, set in NeoOtaku City, about cops who investigate crimes related to anime fandom. In the pilot, veteran detective Joe Furuya (SungWon Cho, aka ProZD) is partnered with a rookie named Diesel (Riley Rose Critchlow). At first he doesn't trust her, but he soon comes to accept her as his partner. And... I don't know what else to say, except that the show is fairly amusing, if you're an anime fan.

Season two (6 episodes)
So, at the end of season one, the chief of the Anime Crimes Division turned out to be a criminal, so Joe and Diesel had to bust him. But that led to Joe suffering severe disillusionment about anime, so he quit. This season picks up three months later. Diesel had been demoted to Tape Squad, which means she's no longer allowed to investigate any anime-related crimes. In the first episode, an ACD informant named Hideki Jones is murdered. He's an old friend of Joe's, so Diesel convinces the new chief, Brody, to give her a chance to talk to Joe and ask for his help in solving the crime. Joe is extremely reluctant to return to the ACD; in fact, he intends to apply for a job in Prestige Television City. But Diesel makes a deal with Joe to help him with that plan, in exchange for helping her with this one last case. And... I guess there isn't really any more I want to say about the season's plot, because it would all be too spoilery. But I will say that I found season two funnier than I remember season one being.
