This game show was hosted by Bob Barker from 1972-2007. He retired in '07, and was replaced by Drew Carey (of The Drew Carey Show, as well as the American version of "Whose Line is it Anyway?"). I suppose I used to watch this fairly often, when I was a kid, though hardly at all, nowadays (virtually never, since Drew Carey took over, though I hadn't really watched much of the later Barker years, either). It's a very popular game show, so I'll assume you've seen it. So I probably don't need to say anything about it (but you can read Wikipedia or something, if you want a description). I dunno what to say, anyway. There were lots of different games played by contestants over the years. Sometimes old games would be retired and new ones added, I guess. I'm sure there must be games on the show now that I've never seen. But hopefully there are still some of my old favorites. Not that it matters, since I don't watch anymore, anyway....

There used to be models on the show called "Barker's Beauties." The lineup changed somewhat over the years, I guess. In my day, there were four of them, including Janice Pennington, Dian Parkinson, Holly Hallstrom, and... actually, maybe for most of the time I watched the show, there were only three. In 1990, they were joined by Kathleen Bradley. I could have sworn there were four before her, but I guess I was wrong. Anyway, Holly was always my favorite, but I reckon we liked all of them. They've all been gone for years now, and there have been other models since then, I guess. But none of them interested me, really, because I guess I felt nostalgia for the originals, or whatever. And of course, by then I was too mature to care much about models, anyway....
