Let's begin...
American Dragon: Jake Long, Disney Channel, Saturdays 3pm. Or various other times.
Disney Channel; IMDb; TV.com; Voice Chasers; Wikipedia
Okay, there's this Chinese-American kid named Jake Long, who can turn into a dragon. So can his grandfather, Lao Shi, who's training him to be the protector of all the magical creatures in New York City, where they live. I guess his mom and little sister Haley can also turn into dragons, but not his dad, who is unaware of any of this. There's also a Shar-Pei named Fu Dog who can talk and stuff, and helps train Jake. And Jake has a couple of friends, Spud and Trixie, who eventually find out that he can turn into a dragon, and they help him out sometimes. And there's this guy called the Huntsman who hunts mythical creatures, and Jake often has to fight him, or at least fight his apprentice, Huntsgirl. Who is apparently Rose, this girl at school who Jake has a crush on. Though neither of them knows the other's secret identity for quite awhile. And there's a professor named Rotwood who teaches a class about mythical creatures at school, but he believes it's all real. He's a nut, despite the fact that he's actually right, though he can never prove it... and alot of his theories are wrong in detail, anyway. And that's about all I can say. It's not a really good show, but I find it entertaining enough, for the most part. I guess. Plus it's interesting cuz some of the voice actors also have roles in Avatar: The Last Airbender (Jake=Zuko, Rose=Katara, etc.)
Cro, ABC
IMDb; Retro Junk; Toonarific; TV.com; Voice Chasers; Wikipedia
I don't remember this very well, but it was alright. There was this scientist, like a paleontologist or whatever, named Dr. C (who we kinda liked). She and this kid named Mike discovered a woolly mammoth named Phil, who had been frozen in a glacier since the Ice Age. So, they thawed him out, and he would tell the two of them stories about stuff that happened in his own time. The central character in these stories was a friend of Phil's, a Cro-Magnon boy called Cro, who lived with Neanderthals. Of course he was much smarter than they were. And the stories also included Phil and his fellow mammoths. Not much else to say, except I kinda liked the theme song, especially the parts where they would chant the name "Cro." (Actually, the rest of the song was kinda cheesy. But still fun, I guess.)
Detention, WB
IMDb; Toonarific; TV Tome
There were a bunch of middle school kids. I don't remember it well, but Shareena Wickett was cool, slightly goth, and Emmitt Roswell was interesting I guess, into like conspiracy theories. Wish I could say something about the show, but it wasn't great anyway. At least I wanted an entry here to mention that I remember it. Vaguely.
Drawn Together, Comedy Central
IMDb; Toonarific; TV Tome
I don't like reality shows at all, but this is a parody of reality shows (in particular it seems to be a parody of MTV's The Real World). It's also a cartoon, and you know I like cartoons. Generally. Um... so it's about all these different cartoon caracters of different types, picked to live together. We kinda like Princess Clara and Foxxy Love. And Ling Ling is kinda funny (a psychotic critter reminiscent of the Pokemon Raichu). The other characters I don't much care about yet. Anyway, I think the show can be kinda funny, I guess. Not great. Mostly it's just dumb and sort of offensive, but it has its moments.
Droids
IMDb; Toonarific; TV Tome
Never saw much and don't remember it really. But it's part of the Star Wars universe, and as such it's important, okay?
Duck Dodgers, Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network; IMDb; Toonarific; TV Tome
Based on Daffy Duck's old Duck Dodgers cartoons, sort of a parody of Buck Rogers, obviously. I liked those old cartoons, but... well, as of this writing I've only seen the first couple episodes of this new series, and I'm not greatly impressed, but it's okay. I dunno what else to say. Although the "Green Loontern" episode kicked a bit of ass.
Duckman, USA
IMDb; Toonarific; TV Tome
I thought this show was pretty stupid and annoying alot of the time. But it had a good cast and it could be funny. Duckman was this detective, who was, of course, a duck. He was pretty stupid and also thought very highly of himself and very lowly of pretty much everyone else. Very self-centered and irresponsible and sexist and stuff. His partner was a smart, polite, Dragnet sort of pig named Cornfed. Duckman was a widower with some weird kids, and they lived with his sister-in-law or whatever. Also a pair of really annoyingly cheerful little teddy bear things worked for Duckman. I dunno what else to say. I didn't watch alot of the show and didn't like it much. Usually.
DuckTales
IMDb; Retro Junk; Toonarific; TV Tome
Reruns on Toon Disney.
I watched some of this after I heard Launchpad McQuack had been in it. Because, you know, I figure if "Darkwing Duck" is such a cool show, I might was well learn about the characters as much as I could. Plus I always kinda liked Scrooge McDuck, anyway. Well, this show was okay I guess. Not really that great. It could be kind of funny. And um... there was also a superhero in this show called Gizmoduck, who'd been on "Darkwing Duck" at least once. And then there was the phrase "blabbering blatherskite," which is just a funny phrase, okay?

Ewoks
IMDb; Retro Junk; Toonarific; TV.com; Wikipedia
Don't remember it well, probably didn't see much of it. But it's part of the Star Wars universe and as such it's important, okay? I think it might be roughly related to the live-action movie Ewoks: The Battle For Endor (IMDb; Movie Tome), but I could be wrong. I remember less about that movie than the series, anyway.
God, the Devil and Bob
Fox Home; IMDb; Toonarific; TV Tome
I don't remember this as well as I'd like. It didn't last very long. But it was kinda funny. God was gonna destroy the world or something. But he was reluctant. But the world sucked and he was all upset about it. He made a deal with the Devil that if one human could like, be an okay person or whatever- a person of the Devil's choosing- he'd spare the world. The guy chosen was Bob (played by French Stewart), who wasn't that great a guy, really. Not a great husband or father or much of anything. And his life was complicated by suddenly having to deal with the Devil trying to tempt him, and both God and the Devil popping in to chat or whatever. I dunno. It was weird, but it was very much like some of my own ideas of the casual relationship that I see developing between God and the Devil after all their thousands of years of animosity. Or whatever. Anyway, interesting stuff I guess, and I expect it woulda been on a higher page while it was on.
Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, Cartoon Network
Adult Swim; IMDb; TV Tome
It's a kinda stupid show, but it can also be kind of funny at times. Birdman used to be a superhero, you know, but now he's a lawyer. He defends characters from old cartoons, or whatever. Also it seems like random wacky stuff happens sometimes. Oh, and his bird, Avenger, is like his secretary or something. And he has a paralegal named Peanut. And a weird boss named Phil Ken Sebben. And some old villains or whatever are also now judges or lawyers. I dunno what else to say. It's all kind of bizarre. And I don't watch it much at all anymore.
Hercules
IMDb; Toonarific; TV Tome
Reruns on Toon Disney.
This was based on the movie of the same name (IMDb; Movie Tome), which I haven't seen yet. I never saw much of the series, either. It certainly wasn't a favorite, but it could be okay. I watched it for awhile when it was first on whatever channel it was originally on, because I was staying with a friend for awhile, and he watched it. I got to kind of like it. Certainly it had a good cast and stuff. I think it was maybe a prequel to the movie? Anyway, um... not all that interested in it, but it was okay.
Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Cartoon Network
Absolute Anime; IMDb; Toonarific; TV.com; Voice Chasers; Wikipedia; YTV
Okay, this is a show about cartoon versions of Ami Onuki and Yumi Yoshimura, of the J-pop duo Puffy AmiYumi. I'm a fan of theirs. The show isn't great, but I find it reasonably entertaining. The eps are introduced, in a vague sense, by the real live Ami and Yumi. Then the cartoon is just these characters based on them, going from gig to gig, having weird, wacky adventures. Or whatever. Along with their manager, Kaz, who for some reason is the only one of them with a Japanese accent. Most of the time; every once in a while Ami and Yumi seem to have an accent, or at least say something in Japanese (without subtitles, gasp!) Anyway, the best thing about the show is that it's peppered with bits of Puffy's music, of course. That, and the appearances by the real Ami and Yumi, make me tempted to put this show on a higher tier, but I think the cartoon itself doesn't quite warrant it. That's about all I can think to say, except that cartoon Ami and Yumi kinda remind me of Starfire and Raven from Teen Titans (see cartoons 2)....
Johnny Bravo, Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network; IMDb; Toonarific; TV Tome
Not a great show, but it's okay at times. It can be rather amusing I guess. This guy Johnny is just kinda dumb and self-involved and vain. He wants to get a girl, but no girls are ever interested in him. He um, works out alot and studies karate and takes great care of his hair and talks kinda like Elvis (and lives in Aron City, with his mama). There's some other characters in the show who think of Johnny as a friend, but he doesn't seem to like them much. Dunno what else to say, it can be a kinda stupid show most of the time, but sometimes funny. But I haven't watched it for awhile.
The Legend of Tarzan
IMDb; TV Tome
Based on the animated Disney movie Tarzan (IMDb; Movie Tome). I didn't watch the show much, but it was okay sometimes, I guess. Jane's kinda cute, but I like the evil queen of those leopard men better. And the movie's better than the series.
Perfect Hair Forever, Cartoon Network
Adult Swim; IMDb; TV.com; Wikipedia
This is odd. It seems to be mocking anime. Which is cool. I love anime, but at the same time I can enjoy a good mocking of anime. It also seems to mock some of Adult Swim's other original shows, or at least their general randomness, so it's doubly cool. Anyway, there's this kid named Gerald who's starting to go bald, and he wants perfect hair forever. So his Uncle Grandfather sends him on some quest. Though Grandfather seems more interested in ogling a girl named Brenda. And there's a villain named Coiffio. Other odd characters join Gerald on his quest, including a hotdog and a tree, both of whom are really annoying. And some characters work for Coiffio, but there's also this guy called Cat Man who's supposed to work for him, but usually doesn't, because he just finds everyone annoying, apparently. And there's some flaming thing called Rod, the anime god, who is just on his own side. And there's a young man who is like the King of Animals, and travels around with some talking animals, and wants to help Gerald I guess, but mostly just gets himself and his animal friends into various messes. And um, I dunno what else to say about the show. It's weird. Kinda funny and stupid. Nothing ever really seems to happen, or at least nothing that seems to have any point or that furthers Gerald's quest. Oh, and the opening and closing themes are like different every week.
The Real Ghostbusters
IMDb; Retro Junk; Toonarific; TV.com; Wikipedia
Based on the live-action movies Ghostbusters (IMDb; Movie Tome) and Ghostbusters II (IMDb; Movie Tome). There was some other cartoon called Ghostbusters which had nothing to do with the movies or anything, and I never saw it, but it was out first, so this show needed to add "Real" to its title. Uh, I guess it was later renamed Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters (Retro Junk; TV.com), but it's basically the same thing. I dunno what else to say. I wish I remembered it better, but I definitely enjoyed it while it was on.
Rude Dog and the Dweebs, CBS
IMDb; Retro Junk; Toonarific; TV.com; Wikipedia
This didn't last long and wasn't really great, but it was okay. Rude Dog himself was cool, but I don't recall caring for the dweebs (who were just these dumb dogs) that much. Rude Dog tried to look after them and instruct them in being cool, though. I don't remember it well, but I liked the theme song and I used to have a sweatshirt with Rude Dog on it...
Santo Bugito, CBS
IMDb; Toonarific; TV Tome
This show was funny. It was about this town in like the Old West, Santo Bugito, inhabited by bugs. I don't remember it well, but I think I liked it. Would've been on a higher page, while it was on.
Skeleton Warriors, CBS
IMDb; Toonarific
I don't hardly remember this. It didn't last long, anyway, but it woulda been on a higher page while it was on. It always kinda reminded me of the Outer Limits in a way, with this weird sort of silvery skull or something, hovering in space at like the start and end of each episode, voicing the moral of the episode's story. I wish I knew what else to tell you.
Spy Groove, MTV
IMDb; Toonarific; TV Tome
Well, I thought it was kinda cool and funny, while it was on. There were only a few eps, should've lasted longer. But it probably would've gotten old before long. In fact, looking back, it probably wasn't as good as I thought it was. But I dunno. Anyway, I can't really remember it well anymore. There were a couple of spies, called Agent One and Agent Two. I used to have a tape with the show on it, but maybe I misplaced it or taped over it, I dunno. Anyway, the spies did spy stuff, I dunno what else to say.
The Weekenders
IMDb; Toonarific; Toon Disney; TV.com; Voice Chasers; Wikipedia
Reruns on Toon Disney.
It's not bad, not great. The show at first seemed to me kind of like a rip-off of Recess (cartoons 5), except with kids in their early teens instead of pre-adolescents. It's set in the town of Bahia Bay, where the main characters, Tino Tonitini, Carver Descartes, Tish Katsufrakus, and Lor McQuarrie (of whom Lor is my favorite)... uh, well, they do stuff... on the weekend. That's pretty much the show. I dunno what to say, except it can be kinda funny and a little kooky or quirky or something. And they tend to learn valuable life lessons, I guess. And the pizza place they hang out at keeps trying bizarre new concepts, and I don't just mean their recipes. And Tino's tagline/catchphrase "later days" sounded really lame the first several times I heard it, but eventually I got used to it, and occasionally they actually do a mildly amusing twist on it or something. There are also some vaguely interesting recurring characters, I guess. I think Tino's mom is pretty cool. Yep, that's all I can think to say, for now. So... later days.
