There may be some crossover here with variety shows. But mostly... meh, I dunno. Talk shows, whether morning, daytime, late night, whatever... and news shows, well... I don't really watch alot of news. If I do, it's generally entertainment news, or mock news shows... though such things can also be serious. So, whatever. I wish I knew what else to tell you....

Oh yes. About talk shows... you know the deal. They have a host, who does a monologue, and there may be various comedy bits, and he'll interview guests, and there'll be a musical guest usually, that plays a song. Whatever. It's all quite formulaic, a certain similarity regardless of network or host or anything else. But... there are also differences, based on the style and personality of the host, as well as any possible sidekick(s) he might have....

I should also mention that any shows I rate here... my rating could be... eh. I dunno. Cumulative based on what I've seen of any hosts, or it could be based on one host in particular, like my favorite one, over the years. Of course, I never watch any of these shows on a strictly regular basis. I miss these shows far more often than I catch them.... so my ratings don't really mean alot, I guess... but... in general, I think it sort of matters to convey... whatever. Which shows I like more, or have liked more at some point... Or something. I dunno.
