Let's begin...
Prison Break, Fox
FOX; IMDb; TV.com; TWoP; Wikipedia
Lincoln Burrows is in prison for murdering the Vice President's brother, and he's scheduled to be executed. However, his brother, Michael Scofield, has devised an elaborate plan to break him out of the prison, which the company he worked for helped design. It starts with him committing armed robbery and being sentenced to the same prison as his brother. To make his plan work, he'll need help from various inmates, including Charles Westmoreland (who some believe to be legendary plane hijacker DB Cooper), Fernando Sucre (Michael's cellmate, who wants to get out because his cousin is trying to steal his fiancee), John Abruzzi (a mob boss who orders around other inmates, but who is desperate to find an informant in the witness protection program, whose location Michael claims to know), Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell (a rapist and murderer who all the other inmates despise), and "C-Note" (who can procure various things). Michael is also unwittingly is helped by the warden, Henry Pope (for whom Michael is working on a scale model of the Taj Mahal, for Pope's wife).
Meanwhile, on the outside, a lawyer named Veronica Donovan (Lincoln's former girlfriend; who we like) is trying to find evidence that Lincoln was framed, though it's only recently that she came to believe he was innocent. Her efforts are constantly being thwarted by agents of the Secret Service, so it's clear that there's a conspiracy going pretty high up. I'm not sure what else to say, but it's a pretty interesting show, mainly the parts that take place inside the prison, though. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see the whole first season, so now I'm afraid I'm not bothering with the second season. But maybe I'll catch reruns or something, someday. Or not.
