This category will not include police detectives. It will be about either private or federal investigators, and perhaps other types... um, I'm not quite sure yet....
Let's begin...
Touching Evil, USA
IMDb; TV Tome
Based on a British series. This FBI agent, David Creegan, was shot and was critically dead for a few minutes, and lost part of his brain, but survived. He took a leave of absence for a year, but now he's back at work, in the FBI's Organized and Serial Crime Unit (OSC). He's lost various faculties, such as a sense of shame, but he's still brilliant at his job. Just not great at following all the rules. He's also divorced and has a couple of kids. He's been teamed with Detective Susan Branca (played by Vera Farmiga, who we very much like, and who is familiar to us from the miniseries "Roar"). She's not particularly pleased at having to work with him, at first. It's supposed to be a sort of Mulder and Scully (see supernatural & paranormal shows) type relationship, I guess. Dunno what else to say right now, but while I liked it at first, my interest waned a bit. It's still pretty good, though I'm sort of considering moving it to a lower tier. I dunno.
