This is quite possibly the single most classic TV series of all time. I haven't seen much of it, and I'm not a big fan, but it's definitely good, and for the time it was made it was great. Lucille Ball played Lucy Ricardo, the wife of a Cuban American singer named Ricky Ricardo (played by Desi Arnaz, Ball's real-life husband). The show also featured their friends/landlords, Fred and Ethel Mertz. I don't really know what to say about the plot, except Lucy was a fairly wacky character who was always getting herself into some kind of ridiculous situation, often dragging Ethel along with her, much to the frustration of Ricky and Fred. Yeah, that's all I can think to say, but the show has been parodied or alluded to in countless other shows and movies over the years, and I doubt there's anyone in the world who hasn't at least heard of the series and probably seen at least a few episodes on cable or in syndication or something. I wish I could think of more to say, but... I dunno.
