This came out in 1999, but I didn't see it until... I forget when exactly. Probably sometime in the 2010s. It was in early 2016 that I decided I should have a mention of the movie on my site, but I wasn't even sure if I'd ever written a review. So I checked, and didn't find one... but I still don't recall for sure whether I wrote a review after I watched it, and later deleted it, or decided when I watched it that I didn't care enough to write a review at all. So anyway, when I decided however many years after watching it to write a review, I was planning on putting it in the "meh" category. But then I thought maybe I might as well put it under "westerns." Then, when looking at links for the movie, I was reminded that it was about the American Civil War, and decided to put the review in that category (which I didn't even have on my site, when I watched the movie). Anyway, I had wanted to see it for a long time, mainly because one of the stars was Jewel, and I was a fan of her music. But when I finally did see it, I really didn't care for the movie at all. And now I don't remember anything specific about the plot or any of the characters. So... I can't actually write a review. But like I said, I just wanted a mention of it.
