This 2017 short film was presented by Alter in 2019; re-released in 2024.

A vampire who is over five centuries old is lying in a hospital room after some sort of accident. A splinter is embedded in his chest, and working its way toward his heart, and when it gets there, he will die. He is visited by one of his "children", and he talks to her about the nature of immortality, or rather how nothing is truly immortal. It's an interesting concept and an unusual take on a vampire story, which I like. And I don't know what else to say.
