This 2020 short film was presented by Dust in 2021.

This is set in Australia, apparently sometime in the 1980s. There are two young teenage friends named Alex and Eddie. Alex has a crush on a girl named Stacey, but he's too shy to tell her how he feels. Then they see a meteorite falling to Earth, and the three of them go to investigate. I don't want to say what they find (though the image on the film player kind of spoils it) or what else happens, but it seems like a good start to a larger story. If the film were longer, even feature length, I'd probably rate it higher than one smiley. The characterizations and acting are pretty good, but the story itself is too short for me to care very much about it. I did like it, though.
