This 2020 short film was presented by Dust in 2022 and by Alter in 2024.

This is a Spanish film with English subtitles. I could have filed it under "supernatural/paranormal" or "weird/surreal", but I think "horror" is the best fit. A woman named Ana says goodbye to David (her boyfriend or husband, I don't know which) outside their apartment. As she walks down the hall, she suddenly sees a small, electrified portal hanging in midair, and tries to touch it. Then it disappears, and a woman- who appears to be Ana- shows up in front of her and says "You will never be back", then disappears. Ana returns to her apartment, but David doesn't know her. Nobody knows her. There's not much more to say about the plot, but the story does come full circle. It's a pretty well-made film, I think. And definitely creepy.
