Two women are having a conversation, and at first it's unclear what exactly their relationship is or what they're really talking about. Eventually it becomes apparent that one of the women has been dating a man who she didn't know was involved with the other woman. And the other woman hates her for it. There are some twists along the way, and the whole thing is horrifying. I feel like I've said too much already, but also that I'm leaving too much out. I feel like it deserves a higher rating than I've given it, but also that I've rated it higher than my actual enjoyment of the film. It gets pretty damned hard to watch, which I feel is both the film's strength and... I guess, my weakness. Why I couldn't like it more than I did. But it's deeply affecting, in its horror.
