This 2022 short film was presented by Dust in 2023.

This is set in Zimbabwe, and the language is Ndebele (it has English subtitles). It is one year after aliens came to Earth and broadcast a signal that turns everyone who hears it into "demons". The film follows two survivors, David and Zee, who are hiding out in an abandoned building. They are eventually joined by a woman named Mary, whom they had met some time earlier but thought had been lost to the demons. I don't want to spoil any details, so there's not much more I can say, but it's definitely a good short film, and would probably be even better as a full-length film with a more developed story.
