This 2016 short film was presented by Dust in 2021.

A couple named Mary and Virgil are living in a dystopian London in 2056. Virgil is dying, and only remains alive by taking meds that Mary obtains illegally. One day there are no more meds available, but she acquires two devices that could allow their consciousnesses to be uploaded to "Cloud 9", which would, in a sense, save Virgil's life. He doesn't want to go, at first, but finally relents. And then there's a twist that I don't want to spoil, even though I basically saw it coming. It leads to a question Virgil must answer, and... that's all I want to say. But the way he answers is another twist, one that I thought made the film stand out from similar stories.
