This was released theatrically with Cars in 2006, and is included on the DVD of that movie. It's also available on the Pixar Short Films Collection volume 1, which is where I first saw it in 2022. There is no dialogue, but it is a medieval setting. In a vast, empty piazza, a one man band starts playing, hoping people will show up and give him money for his performance. A little girl soon comes and is about to throw her single coin into a fountain, but is then attracted by the performer. However, a second one man band then shows up and starts playing, and a competition erupts between the two of them, each man hoping the girl will give him her coin.

I started out thinking the short was just okay, and I thought I'd probably rate it one smiley, but as the story progressed, I gradually increased my estimation until finally deciding to give it two smileys. It's a rather amusing short, and the way it ends is fun, though I do feel kind of bad for both performers.
