This 2018 short film was presented by Alter in 2020, re-released in 2023.

So, Alter is a horror short films channel, and sometimes they do comedy horror, and I may link to a review from both "comedy" and "horror", but for this one, I'm only linking from "comedy". I mean, there is horror in the short, yeah, but it's just too comical to be even a little bit scary. And this short is so funny!

There are these two roommates, Zack and Jakki. Zack is into all kinds of occult stuff, but Jakki just isn't interested. She's sick of always getting dragged into toying with such things. But she gets excited when she finds out he has a monkey's paw, and they start making wishes with it. Of course, that goes horribly awry, and they have to try to undo all their poorly thought through wishes. That's really all I can say without spoiling any details, but I will say that I wish we could see more of these two characters, like all the stuff they did before this story. Because this was just great.
