Oswald the Lucky Rabbit
Disney Wiki; Oswald Wiki; TV Tropes; Wikipedia

The character of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. 192 shorts were produced between 1927 and 1943, though Walt and Ub left the studio (Universal) after the first series, in 1928. The character is not at all well known to me, and I doubt I'll ever see many of his short films.

Poor Papa (5:15)
Disney Wiki; IMDb; Oswald Wiki; Wikipedia

This was the first Oswald short produced, but the twenty-first to be released. I first saw it on the Blu-ray of Pinocchio. There's no dialogue (not even title cards), just music. Storks deliver a ton of baby rabbits and Oswald isn't happy about it. That's pretty much all there is to it. The visual gags were okay, but they didn't make me really care about the film.

Trolley Troubles (5:45)
Disney Wiki; IMDb; Oswald Wiki; Wikipedia
streaming sites: Disney+

This was the second Oswald short produced, but the first released. I watched it on Wikipedia. There's no dialogue, though Oswald does make some noises this time. He's trying to operate a trolley, and keeps running into troubles. There was one visual gag I liked enough that I almost rated this "meh and a quarter", but I decided that one thing wasn't good enough for the extra quarter, after all.
