This 2022 short film was presented by Dust in 2023.
This short film is mostly a western, and if I had a category for such, I'd put it there. In fact I should probably create a western short films category, but I'm not feeling up to it right now, so for now I'm sticking my review under "action". But I probably will get around to creating a western category someday, and then I'll move this there. It's also described as "dystopian", and I do have a category for that, I'd kind of like to get a better feel for the world in which a film is set before deciding to categorize it as such. What this world seems to be, aside from a standard western, is maybe a little bit steampunk, or dieselpunk, or something like that.
Anyway, there's a wanted outlaw being pursued by a posse. She wears some crude armor, including a helmet that conceals her identity (and the fact that she's a woman). And she's a much better shot than her pursuers. And... I don't really know what to say, except that it's pretty cool, a bit amusing perhaps, and I'd love to see a longer story set in the world of this film.
