This came out in 2000, but I didn't see it until 2021. Shaggy is driving the Mystery Machine along a desert road when a dust storm sends him off course, and subsequently the gang encounters a UFO, and crash the van into a cactus. Before long Scooby and Shaggy encounter aliens, while their friends head to a nearby town to find someone to fix the van. They end up at a diner where they meet a guy named Lester (Jeff Bennett), who claims to have been abducted by aliens. Scooby and Shaggy later wind up at the diner, too, after being chased by aliens, and the whole gang spends the night at Lester's house. That night, Scooby and Shaggy are abducted by aliens. They wake up the next morning in the middle of the desert, where they meet a nature photographer named Crystal (Candi Milo) and her dog, Amber. Shaggy immediately falls for Crystal, and Scooby for Amber. They later show Crystal and Amber the spot where they'd first seen the aliens (and a jackalope). Meanwhile, the rest of the gang tours a nearby facility that listens for alien signals. Three people work there: Max (Kevin Michael Richardson), Laura, and Steve (Mark Hamill).

Daphne, Velma, and Fred do some investigating, while Shaggy, Scooby, Crystal, and Amber do some investigating of their own. Eventually a scheme is uncovered, and the culprits would have gotten away with it, if not for... a plot twist that made me like the movie more than I had up until the time it was revealed. But I won't spoil that. So, I'm not sure what else to say. I don't think it was a very good movie, but it wasn't bad, either. I definitely enjoyed the end more than the beginning.
