This is essentially a cross between Avatar, The Fifth Element, and Titan A.E., which somehow manages to be nowhere near as good as any of those films. Which is not to say I didn't enjoy watching it. I did. Kind of. And now I never need to do so again. Actually, the film is based on French comic books I'd never heard of, which predate any of the movies I mentioned. As for the plot... well, Wikipedia explains it better than I could, and I don't have the emotional energy to even try, what with my executive dysfunction, and all. So really, I'm not sure what's left to say, except that I enjoyed the special effects. (I saw it on DVD in 2D, but it was also released in 3D.) Lots of CGI aliens and whatnot.
