In this section, I'll include any movies about solving mysteries, by private detectives or amateur sleuths. That is, any mystery movies that don't fit into more specific categories, such as film noir, action/adventure, animation, thrillers, or spy flicks. However, it will sometimes be hard for me to decide which category to file a review under (especially with films I haven't seen yet). Also I should say, this category is for when the film's focus is on the "good guys." For films that may involve mysteries in which the focus is on the "bad guys," see crime films. For mysteries solved by police, federal agencies, and the like, see law enforcement. For TV mysteries, see detective shows.
