A young woman named Elizabeth is babysitting a young boy named Jack on Halloween. She teaches him how to make a Jack-o-Lantern. It all seems very normal, almost mundane. And that's what makes the sudden horrific turn the story takes all the more... you know, horrific. (Honestly, I did not see that coming.) And that's all I want to say about that.
