A young woman named Nora who works at a dollar store has a bunch of money stolen from her register on Halloween. Her skeevy boss, Dan, insists she pay it back, unless she's willing to reimburse him in another way. Which she's not, but she also doesn't have the money to pay back what a customer stole. So her friend Marie suggests she get a one-night job at a Halloween haunt attraction. This also isn't a great option, because Nora hates Halloween. And she's really not good at acting scary, so all the people who attend the haunt are underwhelmed by her performance. Until Dan shows up, and Nora has a chance to get her revenge.
Well, I liked Nora, and I liked the look of the film. I didn't much care for how it ends, but on the whole, it was a nifty little Halloween short. I probably won't find it memorable, but it was worth watching once.
