Christmas season 2025

July 25
For Christmas in July, I watched the 2018 short film The Predator Holiday Special. That was fun. Later I watched A Sudden Case of Christmas, which was also kinda fun.

November 2
Last night, I discovered A Danny Elfman Christmas Story on YouTube, which was released the previous day (Halloween). Today I added it to the front page of my Winter Holidays section.

Nov. 7
I added this year's Mariah Carey "It's Time!" video to my Christams commercials playlist (2023-2025). Also, there are a couple of songs I plan on adding to my Christmas songs playlist, but right now there's no video, just audio. So I'm gonna wait to see if the artists put out full videos for the songs. (Actually, one of them already has a video, but it's on Disney Music VEVO and not allowed to be added to playlists, so I may have to settle for the audio.)

Nov. 10
I added three more holiday ads to my playlist, and put all four on my commercial updates page. I expect to add more in the near future, but I don't know if I'll always mention it here.

Nov. 12
Added a few more ads.

Nov. 16
Added some more ads (and I did at least one ad some day that I neglected to mention it).

Nov. 21
Last night I searched for Christmas songs on YouTube, and decided I should break up my 20th Century Christmas songs playlist into two separate playlists. I did that today, one for 1940s-70s, and one for 1980s-90s. And I have added several songs to both of those. I also added some songs to my 2000s-2010s and 2020s playlists (but nothing new from this year, yet). I'm considering breaking up the 2000s-2010s into two separate playlists, as well, but I'm not sure yet if or when I'll do that.

Nov. 22
Added some more songs to my playlists.

Nov. 23
Moved 2000s songs into the 1980s-90s playlist, so now all four of my playlists are right around 50 songs each.

Nov. 28
I've done some work on my playlists over the past week or so. Guess I don't feel the need to mention it every time I do something to them. And today the peppermint Pocky I ordered arrived. Five boxes, because that was the least it was possible to order. I do rather wish I could have done a mix pack of other flavors, but oh well. Maybe I can give a box or two away, if anyone around here is interested. Meanwhile, I think it's reasonably tasty.

Nov. 30
It's the first Sunday of Advent, so I posted a Christmas song in The Music Exchange on Facebook: "White Christmas" by The Philly Specials. Later I watched Love Actually for the first time. It's not as much of a Christmas movie as I was led to believe, but Christams does play a part.

December 5
For Krampusnacht, I watched It's a Wonderful Knife. That was fun.

Dec. 7
Second Sunday of Advent, so I posted a Christmas song in the Music Exchange: "Where Are You Christmas?" by The Pretty Reckless. Later I started my new playlist Christmas songs 2025-20??

Dec. 10
I bought some more Christmas mp3s and added them, along with a bunch of old mp3s, to my mp3 player. I also ordered a Bluetooth speaker to use with my mp3 player, so hopefully that gets here before too long. I want to use it on Christmas. In the evening, we put the tree up, which is always an ordeal.

Dec. 12
Today my sister was putting some of her ornaments on the tree, so I decided to do mine, as well. And then she gave me a few new ornaments as an early Christmas present: a Cyberman and the 12th Doctor from Doctor Who, and Dr. Crusher from Star Trek.

Dec. 14
Third Sunday of Advent, so I posted a Christmas song in the Music Exchange: "wishlist" by flowerovlove. Later, I listened to the Glee: The Christmas Album vol. 3.
