Today my sister got me a Shamrock Shake.

March 15
Watched part 1 of the 1999 miniseries "The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns."

March 16
Started my review of the miniseries, then watched part 2, then worked some more on the review. Hopefully I'll watch part 3 and finish up my review sometime tomorrow.

Mom, Dad, Beth, and I went to Grandma's for dinner, as did Uncle Alan and Aunt Brenda. Of course we always have corned beef & cabbage on the Sunday closest to St. Patrick's Day, which this year happened to actually be Sunday. (And of course there's other things in the meal, including potatoes, carrots, onions, parsnips, and soda bread.) Also while at Grandma's, I read the weekend comics. A few of them mentioned St. Patrick's Day, but this was my favorite:

Well, in the evening I tried to watch part 3 of the miniseries, but my internet was a little slow. So, I put in a DVD... of The Muppet Movie. Mainly I was thinking about Kermit being green, and green being the color of St. Patrick's Day. But when I got to the scene with the Electric Mayhem, and Dr. Teeth sang the lyrics "nothing in my pocket, I keep it at the rainbow's end," I started thinking (for probably the first time ever) that he actually kind of looks like a leprechaun, aside from his clothes. So anyway, that increased my feeling that this was a good choice of movie to watch tonight. ...And then I watched part 3 of The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns. That was fun.
