Gotham City Sirens, DC

Okay, it's been many years since I've had a chance to keep up with developments in the Batman universe, or DC comics in general. But I'm vaguely aware of what's going on. Sort of. I dunno, I've missed tons of stuff. But it seems as if Batman died. Or not. But there's currently a number of titles that fall under the heading "Batman: Reborn." One of them is Gotham City Sirens (or at least it was when the series started; maybe the whole "Reborn" thing has run it's course by now).

Anyway, "Sirens" is about Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn, chiefly. I'm reasonably familiar with the characters, from various media, even if I don't really know what's been going on with any of them in recent years. But in this new title, the three of them are currently sharing a place together. And we occasionally see familiar characters show up (like the Riddler, who's apparently reformed and become a detective). Of course, some characters will be familiar to dedicated DC readers who have more time and money than I, but aren't familiar to me, and some characters who I don't even know if this is their first appearance or not.

But anyway, there are of course one-shot stories and story arcs, I'm not sure how much of that is worth my getting into. But I will say that at some point, Poison Ivy gets a job at STAR Labs, using the alias "Dr. Paula Irving," which should prove interesting. Other than that, I'll just say that I'm enjoying the stories well enough, and time will tell whether I continue reading it for much longer... But for now, my favorite part of the comic is the art. Cuz all the women are incredibly sexy (just check out my gallery)....
