Okay. I've always loved to read, though in recent years I rarely seem to find time to read any books; I have a hard enough time keeping up with the few magazines and comic books I read. And of course, my memory sucks, so there's no way I could write reviews of books I read years ago, without rereading them. Also, unlike my TV reviews or movie reviews, for the time being I'm going to put genres in a navframe directly on the main review page rather than give each genre its own subpage, because there are so few reviews here. Of course, most of the things I read will be science fiction or fantasy, anyway, though occasionally I'll read something else... and not necessarily know what to call it other than simply "non-genre," which will be any fiction that cannot neatly be described as SF, fantasy, horror, supernatural, mystery, or... you know, anything clear-cut like that. Not that I won't sometimes have trouble classifying some genre stuff, which may have elements of both fantasy and sci-fi about them....
What else? I think I'll usually put series reviews on a single page (much like my comic book reviews) instead of separate entries for each book in the series, but this won't always be the case. And um... that's all I can think to say, for now. Anyway, I hope to expand this section of my site in the future, if I can find more time for reading and reviewing....
Um, also: I think I'll include pictures of the books, in my reviews. Links provided in reviews may have pictures of book covers, but may not always be of the actual copies I have... because, of course, books get reprinted many times over the years, sometimes by different companies, and so they may go through any number of different covers. I'd kind of like you to be able to see the covers I have, so... I'll look for such pics online (Amazon is usually a good bet), and failing that, I'll scan my own copies. Won't that be nice?
